Thirteen players have scored over 100 goals in the Premier League since its inception in 1992. The latest recruit to that elite group is Robbie Keane of Tottenham Hotspur. He scored two goals against Fulham on Boxing Day to reach that landmark. His Premier League goals have been scored with three clubs, Coventry City, Leeds United and Spurs.
The leading goalscorer is Alan Shearer who amassed 261 goals with Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United.
Of the thirteen names on the list, only Keane, Michael Owen, Dwight Yorke and Andrew Cole are still playing in the Premier League.
Some current players are just outside the 100 mark and will be looking to reach that important milestone in the near future.
